Got a text (literally the first unsolicited update...ever) from my SA this morning telling me that my Model Y entered production and they should have a VIN to share with me about a week from now, taking delivery hopefully before Labor Day. I'll take it!
@randomplaydo Where are you taking delivery & who is your SA? I am taking delivery in Peabody and I don't get much info from my SA. My current window is 8/24 to 9/9 staying slipping a day every day since Saturday. But he says he can't tell me anything more than what I see on the site. Would love to know some timing!!! Hopeful I will get it in August but the lack of info is killing me with the EDD window so close now...

First off I didn’t mean spam their lines like call back to back… like stated if you are past the dates that was listed on the order page call and get a status update… And post your answers that you received here… If several people call and several people get answers we can start putting together an idea of what is happening… Some people have Advisors that won’t share any information other then wait for a vin… These people on the logistics line can tell you a little more about your order… Of course you don’t want to call 1,000 times a day because it’s the same 5 people that answers the phone… Tesla gave them a job to answer and help customers…
Ok so there a second time for everything, I got a JOB! Like a regular one, not driving for uber. It pays way more than the marina. I get $1850 every two weeks which is perfect. Id be an Access Control Specialist or Gatekeeper for short, at a very wealthy community.
Congrats man! Rooting for you!!!

Just got a call from my Tesla advisor. He offered me to take the MYP MSM white interior, no FSD, no hitch I test drove few days ago and if I didn't he would offer it to his other customer. I said "I don't mind the demo car with ~250 miles only, but the deal-breaker is the white interior, feel free to offer the car to another person" ... what can I say, I don't like the white interior ...

I tried using distil.io but the free version does not allow for push notifications and is limited to 30 emails a month. I found this to be limiting with the number of changes that can occur and it also could not check the source code for a VIN match. This lead me to write a python program to check the website for me every 5 minutes. It uses firefox drivers and selenium to get around the oauth2 verification and saves the EDD in a csv file every time there is a change. It will also check the "isNotMatchedToRa00Vin" value to see if this changes. I have it setup with a pushbullet api so I get a push notification. It is not perfect but I just wanted to put something together quick to help prevent me from checking the damn site 1,000 times a day. Anyone tech savy is more then welcome to use it.
