Judging by previous patterns and current Inventory -

SR+ / Performance - within a month from now.

Long Range - 10-16 weeks +

There could be exceptions as there’s always a few cancelled orders and you might have to accept maybe not exactly the spec you want if looking for a car to arrive in next 4 weeks.

It doesn't matter what others tell you. All that matters is what spec you want... What someone else ordered and when they got it would of depended on the spec they ordered, whether they got matched early due to identical cancelled order or their resilience on chasing a match from inventory and calling Tesla for a match...regardless of what others say here imho, you're just wasting time...get on with it! :)

We all know what 5-10 weeks Tesla time is though! Just after a couple of ‘actual’ reference points if possible.

This is such a simple question with such a complex answer! Truthfully, nobody knows. The best thing you can do is place your order, and be prepared to wait up to three months or so. You might strike it lucky and be matched to a car already in transit. It’s happened before, but it’s the exception.

Last year I ordered 8th May and got the car 23rd August.

When you order don’t forget to use a referral code (in my profile ;)) to give you 1000 free supercharger miles.

Thanks all. Thought as much. Just a bit of planning for a possible upgrade. I don’t need a referral code (shameless Roy!), I’ll use my own :D.

Then you should know better!:D

Piss up and brewery comes to mind :D... The situation remains since they have to come from the USA bloke. The future will change but i dont have a magic ball. Excuse the sarcasm!;)

I ordered a white LR black seats late on a Thursday night at end of june and on the Saturday morning I was matched to a car and told i had to collect by the tuesday!! (End of quarter!) I had to decline as I didn’t have my loan sorted from energy saving trust.

So went on a waiting list and was supposed to get one 25th August but delays so they offered me 1st September.

I had a last minute change in colour due to total inability to get insured for a wrapped car! And did another impulse late night purchase just before midnight on Tuesday this week as my perfect car popped up on inventory - grey colour with white seats, in Manchester, I put down deposit, my delivery specialist has sorted everything for the car moved to Edinburgh for me and I’m collecting next Friday so a week and a half wait time on that one!

that said there were people waiting for cars in the last batch of deliveries end of August who have been waiting since January! So it seems to vary pretty wildly - I’m really happy so far with experience and will be happier on Friday if all goes to plan!
