I'm still on 2020.20.12 software & have seen various threads/posts on this & other forums with people commenting about not receiving the latest 2020.24.x updates yet.

Looking at global Teslafi data (11,845 vehicles included in this) it appears that a lot of current updates may be replacing earlier 2020.24.6.1 with 2020.24.6.4, maybe in preference to updating 2020.20.12 for now?

The below two charts show total installs (data from the graph) for 2020.20.12 & the main 2020.24.6 updates compared to how the situation looks today:

2020.20.12 has hardly changed in % terms but the newer 2020.24.6.1 & interims have been moving significantly over to 2020.24.6.4.

Graph below shows numbers of updates by date & number of global vehicles. There are others in between the ranges 2020.20- 2020.24 but few vehicles have been included in those so I've omitted them (they account for less than 7% of total vehicles) 2020.24.6.3 appears to be mostly updates in Canada with a smaller number in USA only.

It seems to me that as Tesla are pursuing development of automation as one of their priorities (& as they capture real time data from all of us), I would assume there are rules & algorithms which may prioritise updates to FSD users & heavy users of Autopilot including geographic and vehicle density - with a fewer number of 'standard' users included in the mix. There probably is good logic behind why we all receive updates when we do....

20.24.6.1 went mostly to US, and seemed to get wide deployment
20.24.6.3 is a Canada specific variant
20.24.6.4 looks like an important bugfix for 20.24.6.1

Once the cars on 24.6.1 are upgraded to 24.6.4, I expect 24.6.4 will go on wide release to Europe (or a EU specific version will appear soon).

It seems like there are usually some early test deployments to EU along with the US roll-out - and each wave seems to take a bit longer now there are more cars out there.
