I'm having some clicking on the rear and I'm assuming a rear CV joint showing the first signs of wear. Being the kind of person who like to keep a spare on the shelf does anyone know if the Lotus Elise one is the same. I don't want to have the car immobilized while I pull it apart to see what fits.

maybe the outer is same as some Saab or Opel
then the discs is possible to use
Then i suspect the bearing is same as a front bearing from them and is that true is there a big risk that joint is same
And think some US car from GM have same parts the as the Europa made cars

That was my first hope, the EBC sticky shins are firmly engaged unfortunately, or fortunately depending on point of view. I think with the milage it’s not unexpected and ironically the CV is pretty cheap to replace. I may even just do the whole shaft and rebuild mine as a spare. Which has proved a waste of time in the past and led to a driveshaft collection.
