Absolutely, my boat leaves an indent on my brick driveway and the truck will definitely have an impact on it much more. I will have to rethink outside the box on how I am going to address this. It's the only parking spot I will have for it with charging ability

Someone posted a CGI 'video' of the cybertruck in the garage, backing out, pulling out of a concrete driveway. At one point, the CT went off the edge of the concrete into the yard, along the edge and back onto the drive. I cringed when I saw that. We truck owners know what the result of this will be. This is a huge heavy machine and if you have not owned one, you are gonna have some growing pains.

I suspect there is going to be a large waiting list for these trucks soon. Tesla has just tapped into a new market outside the fan boys. I wouldn't be surprised if the current wait list is well over a million by the time they hit the road.

Business deductible is cool, I don’t have a garage so no worries there, I have a large concrete driveway that fits two big cars, a Honda Odyssey and a Nissan Xterra with plenty of space to spare and that’s to the gate that I can open in which it continues past the side of the house and I can park 3 more cars in there, and street parking for the front of my house so thankfully it looks like I have more than enough space for the CyberTruck, I don’t think weight is going to be an issue for me thankfully nor its full size specs.

It is unlikely to be heavier than an F-150, but has the cargo weight rating of a F-250.

Please don't confuse yourself and others. GVWR is vehicle weight + max payload. If a vehicle weights 2000 lbs and can carry 8001lbs, it could be classified as Class 3.

Prospective payload capacity for Cybertruck is 3500lbs. If GVWR is between 8500-10000, vehicle curb weight is 5000-6500lbs.

This figure is quite amazing. Model X is 5500lbs, this thing much larger but weights 500lb less!

What am I missing? You get more CyberTruck, for less money than a Ford F-150. Why the heck won't they compete in the market?? It's not like you have to search out a GMC dealer or anything...

You can get into an F250 Supercrew for $45k. Single or extended cabs under 40. A loaded model will run 60-70 just like a loaded F150.

GVWR of an f450 is 14k lbs, so not close to the same. And considering the largest fuel tank in a f450 is 48 gallons. It is a diesel but you consistently get >11 mpg with a large bed camper and pulling a 10k lb trailer?

Truck camper rigs are very common up here in Alaska. I just asked my buddy who has a Ram 3500 dually with a Lance 1172 bed camper, he says bed camper is ~5k lbs loaded. Says when he pulls his boat a 21’ IO jet ~5k lbs loaded he gets 9 mpg. I know the 2 set ups are different but you are talking >5k lbs more than his set up and >20% better mpg, he should get a Ford. .

Though if you are going to tow a trailer on a road trip, unless that trailer is very aerodynamic, you'll need the 500 EPA mile range version, which is rated to pull 14K lbs.

I do. I pull my FJ40 on an 18 foot car hauler. To the Black Hills and back last year 11.4 mpg. I've done this trip twice now with the new truck and it has been very consistent. Missing from my pic is my KLR650 and welder/tools but you get the idea.
