Steel wool is the absolute worst thing for stainless steel.

You need a polymer based blending pad.

Seriously? I ain't washed my back in 40 years. I ain't gonna wash my damn Cyber regardless of if someone pukes on it. My concrete driveway is all cracked and moldy, and even has a few cool lichens accenting it... Some of my neighbors have gone so far as to pull up their old driveways to put in driveways.
I figure the finish it comes with is the finish that it will stay with till it changes its own damn self. The only thing I change on my truck that you can see are the wiper blades and tires. I didn't buy a truck so I'd have to wash it, but that was because it is a truck. Now this vehicle? I ain't wasting money or time on something that was engineered so I wouldn't have to waste money or time.
In the art world it's called patina.
