Think Elon would sell me a Cybertruck without the stainless tub? I think you could sell a LOT of those for like $1k less than sticker. Wouldn't think of buying a full CT just to scrap all that massively energy intensive stainless steel.

Would I do a FSD camper or a mega-Jeep? Unclear. I'm just certain that drivetrain/chassis/guts would be wildly popular if made available in the US. Probably lead to a lot of 1970's Chevy Pickup Frankensteins. Would be pretty cool if you ask me.

Maybe he'd buy the tub back from me after it's removed? Thinking about a Mega-Woodie.

Pretty sure the body is the structure, that is where they are saving cost. So aside from they won't, what you want isn't even a thing.
This. The only way to buy the chassis is to buy the roof, hood, etc. The Cybertruck is a unibody vehicle so there's no practical way to swap body panels, etc.

You're asking for a steak with no meat. That's just called a soybean.
