In the latest software, there is a lot less power at Wot than when using launch mode. They used to be the same, but now it's been downgraded to reduce Teslas warranty liability. It sucks for us.

This is not the case in my P100D. I posted my results in the data logging thread. With battery heated, kw output at WOT was very similar to launch mode kw output.

The problem is: If you set your car to 100% charge limit by default, and plug in every night, your car is literally going to spend 85% of its life at 100%.

Also, the car will start nagging you. After it has noticed you've charged to 100% a few times in a row, it starts popping up a message (when you turn it on) warning that routinely charging to "trip" level can degrade the battery, and asks if you want to lower the limit. You can only answer yes or no.

If you select "no" there is a pop up that reads "Congratulations, we have successfully voided your warranty."
