I sent the picture to 2 Tesla certified body shops near San Diego (AJ-USA and Amato's in case someone in the area is reading). Amato's quoted me $13k, first availability is 2 months out. AJ said replacing the quarter panel is likely $6k and that doesn't include any work on the bumper, first availability is a month out.

I also got some quotes on Yelp for some local bumper repair shops and they are in the range of $1500 to $2500.

I have a $1k deductible with Geico. If it can be repaired with $1500 then I'm temping to do that to avoid the premium jump. Maybe I need to get more quotes...
I am exactly in the same situaion. I am also based in SD and got quotes from Amatos and AJ around 12k$ for my quarter panel replacemt and some work on rear door. So, i went to auto body shops at miramar and they told me that they can repaair it for 2500$. I am also planning to avoid geico because of 1000$ deductibile. Please let me know if you finally decided on where to get it repaired.

Thanks

sorry this is an old thread, but curious what ever happened? yours looks like very similar damage to mine. did they replace the rear quarter panel? my tesla certified shop estimated that it was a rear quarter panel replacement costing ~12k total (picture attached) mine was hit and run, so there is diminished value to recoupe too.
