Word travels fast! I stopped by to charge early Sat afternoon and by the time i left there were five of us there. It was interesting to see all the stares from folks passing by to use the nearby parking lot exit. We sometimes forget how many folks still have no idea how a Tesla works or what superchargers are.

Just got my CPO MS a few weeks ago, and charged at Danbury for the first time this week, during a power outage that lasted a week. Luckily Danbury SC wasn't affected by the outage, but 85 percent of homes in the next town were. SC coming online when it did really helped me out. My generator had all to do to power my home, so I was glad I didn't have to charge my car also. BTW, when I returned to my car after doing some shopping in the mall, I was surprised to see two non-Teslas parked at the chargers. I would imagine a Tesla owner on a road trip would not be very happy to have to wait until someone finishes their day at the mall, before they can continue on their trip. A nice warning window sticker placed by mall security would be a big help here.

Well this place is pretty ICEd up today. It may be particularly bad now because of the fair that is happening near the mall - 5 of the 10 spots had ICE cars parked in them. And for the hour or so I was in the mall, none of them left so they were there to stay for awhile... It may be problematic unless the property owners get involved in enforcement. I had been concerned about the Christmas holiday season, but this may be worse.

Is that a road right behind, or is there a way to pull up on the other side to charge I’d blocked?

It is a road. High curb and grass. But if you were desperate and the spots were ICEd, I think it could be done.

Looks like some ICEholes have taken up residence. I suspect they are carnival workers - they were there for the entire hour we spent in the mall Sunday. These two are in both images.

I was there today and it's back to normal. All spaces open, with the exception of myself and a Model X. I wonder if management will have a "hands off" approach with offenders, not wanting to make enemies of mall paying customers.

Yesterday we plugged into the Danbury SC at 10:04AM. All 10 stalls were empty as we pulled up. Went into L.L.Bean for the bathroom and then started trying on Bean boots.

(side note: too many SCs are located next to L.L.Bean stores. Between Albany, Freeport, and this one, I've spent over $1K at L.L.Bean since getting my cars)

Finally my family went to get coffee and tea at Starbucks - having to wait in line for 15 minutes. Originally we needed only 40 minutes of charge, but when we all finally got going back to the car it was 11:05. We were nearly at 95% in an hour.

My big surprise when we got back to the SuperCharger was that 9 of 10 stalls were all now in use. Seven 3s, an S, and another X had all arrived after us. I was happy to have made it before the holiday rush!
