Dash Cam Drive Full for No Reason?

I noticed that I seemed to have very little historical video footage for my M3 despite having a 128GB SSD connected. In looking at the drive properties, it is showing 125GB in use, but if I look at the properties for the TeslaCam folder, it only shows 27GB in use. There is nothing else on this drive that I can tell which would account for the other 98GB in use. I've tried reformatting it and it does the same thing, and I've tried other drives too and again I experience the same behavior.

are you formatting in the car or on the computer? if the latter, what format option are you using?

have you updated the cars software recently around the time you started to notice this? if not , what software version are you running on your car?

obviously you have not had this issue before, so how long have you been using this SD card? can you tell the class what card it is?

did you reboot the screen? power off the car (whilst sitting in the seat)?

Since it's an SSD, it likely reports the 128 GB capacity to the OS. However, since you formatted it in FAT32, it is possible only 32GB was formatted, and the rest of the drive is unavailable.

Reformat it in exFAT, and see what happens.
