Dash display not turning off

Periodically my Model X does not seem to shut down. I took the photo 24 hours after I last used the car with one one key about 70 ft away and the other about 25 ft in a metal box. The car does not always do this just sometimes. Anyone else experience this and know why it happens?

This photo was taken from outside the car without opening the door.

I haven't observed this with my Model X. However, I do see this behavior with my Model S if the car is unlocked (my S does not have self-locking feature). When I lock my S by clicking the fob the display properly goes dark.

Thanks for your response, I believe I have only seen it when the car is unlocked which it always is in my garage.
