Decided to try out a wood dash with the white interior. I’m pretty please with it, glare is less than the white which wasn’t that bad to begin with. I also put in the matrix black from EV Wraps.

Does anyone like the 'wood' look? I replaced it immediately as it doesn't match with anything else in the interior. IMHO it should have been black in cars with black interior.

Yes, in lieu of someone making an LCD dash with Bluetooth connected to an app with all sorts of possibilities, it’s going to be wood......I like wood panels on the interior, but in this case, the white panel you covered matched well with the rest of the white interior (I didn't order the white interior).
So I'm torn. I like wood but it looks lonely.
If it's a practical choice which cuts the glare I've heard some owners complain about, and you like the look, the stay with it. Doesn't matter what others think. And, you can always switch back if you get tired of the look.

We all have different taste (a good thing), the dash is actually swapped (not covered). It takes 5 min to swap.
I like it when people customize their cars, even if I don't agree with the look for myself. It shows that people are excited and passionate about their cars and want to personalize it for themselves.
when I was younger I would turn my nose up at a cheap-chain-auto-parts-store car adorned with tack on doo dads, but now that I'm more accepting and understanding (i.e. OLD), I like that owners want to personalize their rides. Car culture is dying off so any sign that shows me people still love their cars is good in my book.

I might be in the minority but I actually like the wood trim. And actually, from what I can see in the photos, it looks even better with the white interior than it does with the black. IMHO.
I actually got the extra dash to wrap it, but while test fitting I actually liked the look. And now it’s kinda growing on me. It would be different if it was forced upon me I guess. I might wrap the white one instead in the matrix black to match the console just for fun. It’s also easier to wrap it while it’s unmounted.
I'm tempted to take you up on the offer. I don't like the look of the stock wood in the white interior, but I bet it would look sharp if it was whitewashed.

BjornN, thanks for sharing. I was thinking of replacing the white dash with wood so I'm glad you shared your pics. I like the look of the wood but after seeing it with the white interior I "think" I will stick with the white dash strip. Was it difficult to swap out the dash strip?
