Vendor Dashboard for Tesla - the better app for your Tesla

    The official Tesla app and this alternative dashboard app do not work on LineageOS 16 at the moment. I have filed bug reports at both and hope they will fix this soon. LineageOS itself is not the problem, as it runs all major apps, even banking apps. If other people would like to use these apps, please also report the maintainers that there is an interest/need for LineageOS support.

    My silver Model S turned into a black Model 3 according to this app with the latest firmware update from Tesla. Anyone else?

    Firmware version is 2019.28.3.1 f9e95acd

    Over last few days I get a “failed loading vehicle error”

    The app from Tesla is working fine

    I am getting the same thing. Thanks for posting.
    This thread on the Tesla API indicates some car IDs may have changed. Not sure if related.

    Yes, have had “Failed loading vehicle data” since the last update.
    I have sent a report including logs to the developer and believe he is looking into it.

    Mine also stopped working. It doesn't connect to the car any more.

    Looks like an update was pushed on Dashboard - mine is connecting again.

    Last version that worked for me was 2.1.37

    Ditto that it is working and the 'About' says 2.1.40. I could have swore the "What's changed" dialog box that came up when I opened the app said 2.1.38 tho.

    Just a thought - those of you on 2.1.40 where it is not working, try changing your password. I happened to do mine at the same time so I might be coincidence.

    Any plans on supporting smart summon? The official app lags significantly for me, would love to see if it's an app or connection issue.

    Seems risky. Why would the app developer want to take on that risk? Would you? What if the car hit someone and the family sued all parties involved. Driver, App developer, Tesla, etc.
