That's weird. mine just started doing that today too. I have a Sandisk extreme portable SSD 500GB, with 2 partitions, one for music and one for dashcam. Both formatted FAT32. Today the car started saying the SSD is not formatted properly for dashcam. I'd unplug it, and plug it back in, and it would work for a bit (I could watch the videos) and then the same error would show up. Despite the error I could listen to USB music without issues, but dashcam was unavailable. I wonder if the SSD is starting to fail after being in the car for a few years.
