Dashcam no longer working - Software bug or new MacBook

So I’ve had almost no issues with my dashcam and sentry mode, until recently.

Started getting the white X a week or two ago, which would sometimes go away if I took the usb out and reinserted. Now, all I get is the white X - even after erasing all the files on the drive.

We recently got a MacBook Air, and have been using it to access the USB drive. We were using a PC before. Could that alone be causing the issue?

My only other guess is it’s a bug with the current software. I’m running 2019.12.1.2.

Nevermind. Turned out that when I was moving the old files to the trash, they were still taking up space on the drive until I emptied the trash bin. Weird.
