Hey all.
Hope you are all out enjoying your vehicles and staying safe and healthy.

Wanted to check in with the forum to see if anyone has any recommendations for USB to record Dashcam/Sentry mode. I found one on the PureTesla site but wanted to gather some feedback and reviews first.

Cheers, Cris.

Excellent. Thanks so much for the info. :)

very simple playback...I just open the playback log and watch it on my screen....ive only had it for a few days. I have not taken it out of the car to view on my home computer but from the car it is very simple.

So happy i found this post. I have the T7 Touch and have been struggling to figure out sentry mode. I usually have 1 event every time i get back in my car but one time i had 4 events. I don't recall seeing anywhere that i can view on screen and assumed i would have to view on my mac. I am going to try this in the car again and see if i need to unlock my T7 to view.

I have tried viewing on my mac and i see no videos stored. I really was thinking that i don't have it formatted properly. When i right click the ssd icon i do see it appears to be formatted to eXFAT not FAT32 as I have read it should. Based on your post you say it formatted on it's own and has been working with no issues.

Do you have the T7 or T7 Touch?
Can you try viewing on your computer to see if it works as well?
Can you right click on the icon that downloads to your desktop when you install and click "Get Info" to see the format on your T7?

I am also interested in how i can go in and change the formatting on the T7. Samsang has been pretty usless so far after two different chat sessions. I will be trying to call monday when they open.
