Well it is free with the car. So I don't mind it as a first attempt. I feel the TeslaCam is a bit limited right now but it will improve with future updates. I’m sure the rear cam will be added in a future update.
I’m still keeping my dedicated dashcam for 1) multi-hours spending on the microSD I use, 2) wide angle covers the whole front of the car, 3) records audio, and 4) time/dare stamp.

That'll be fixed with more cameras being used for it.
be interesting to see if we observe different functionality in AP2.5 vs AP3 cars- I suspect we might since one of the reasons for AP3 is handling more cameras at higher framerate.
