Reading a post earlier this morning about how different the days in production seem to be I wanted to see if others were having similar questions. It seems Tesla is able to pop out cars faster than the cabbage patch kid farm for some, I've seen "In transit" on the 3rd day of production for some and weeks for others. My new Tesla is on its 7th day today of "in production". Here is a list of my options to see if others that had delayed productions were / are similar.

Yeah, I'd recommend going through this as well. Set up a temporary filter and compare yours to other similar setups to see what the average times are for your options. You can always email your delivery specialist too if you're worried.

I tried to find a pattern for the delayed deliveries, and I could not find one.

As to the DS, some DS's are slower to respond than others...

Just spoke with Alx my DS. I am scheduled for 6-7-15 10:00am delivery. Site still says "in production" but with his magic touch was able to find out enough info to lock me in. Georgia Tax Ceedit of $5,000 ends June 30th (have to have keys in hands by the 30th to qualify) and the store is slammed packed with calls/orders/questions/deliveries/test drives etc. So thankful for Alx and all he was able to accomplish. Thank you Alx and Tesla of Decatur!!!!

Glad to hear it! Our long wait will soon be over!

Now this I don't get. I've been done for over 2 weeks and Tesla still says June for delivery (said late May until last week) and we have a 5/30 tentative date. The rail transit time is about 3 weeks to the East coast. Perhaps they will switch to truck for you - GA in June would make sense. But perhaps, they still don't communicate internally very well......

I for one give it 50/50 for me on May 30th and 20% chance of you making June 7th - because even by truck that would be tough. My last car (which I cancelled) took about 4 weeks from production complete to available for pickup. The final rail station is in AL and then gets put on truck which makes ATL just 6 hours closer to CA than RDU.

I know a couple states have tax credits expiring 6/30/15. GA and WA are 2 examples. Orders for those states have been bumped up to priority delivery. I also read that 85's where being made faster than 65's. Not sure if that's still true with 70's.
