De-Chrome, Tints & Ceramic Coating

Hi all

With my M3P now likely coming next week instead of in May/June as expected, I'm having to quickly turn my attention to arrival plans.

I want to get a de-chrome, tints and ceramic coating on as quickly as possible - can anyone talk about their experiences /costs etc (appreciate this has been covered a bit on the forum but doesn't seem like that many people are bothering in the UK)

Any recommendations on businesses who can do some or all of these things - ideally Beds, Herts, Bucks region - would be massively appreciated. I preferably want to find someone with a history of doing Model 3s well.

sounds like you are a lucky one then. Everything not already on a boat is now in doubt since it looks like Fremont will have to close down due to CV-19

I have asked Tesla 4 different times and been told it's not possible.

I think its frowned upon and part of the delivery email states at order, but I have had it done whilst waiting for mine so I don't see why not.

Thinking of doing the same and sounds like I’m in your neck of the woods-ish. Will be keeping an eye on this thread. Most recent post I saw re tints was a place in Ipswich, which is a bit of a trek...

How long did you leave the car with them for? Maybe if I can’t find anything closer I’ll tell the girlfriend we’re having a weekend in the new forest.
