Imagine this, EV 440V connector and a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) appliance in your garage, along with 1 EV vehicle of choice for short trips/work and a CNG vehicle for longer trips.
Then compliment your green vehicles with a green house by adding a Bloom Energy or ClearEdge Power fuel cell server to generate the power for either vehicle and eliminate your use of the inefficient power grid.
And for those extra long trips, Compressed Natural Gas fill stations along the highways.

I personally would like to get ride of one of my utility bills and the $600+ I spend on gas each month.

In 10yrs Tesla(and others) will will be mass producing EV's for $25,000 US with a 600 mile range. EV's will be dominating the new car market and be a major driving force in the demand for solar power. No need to have CNG in your garage,a wall socket will do nicely.
