What stinks about this, at least for me, is that the employee received their car in the estimated window. Granted, this was an easy estimation, the delivery estimation for an AWD Performance model in relation to the full tax credit makes me want to cry. :(

The level of detail in his costume is pretty impressive, actually. Theme park quality IMO (except for Disney). Impressed how the hands and feet are pink, like the hairless part of a real mouse. I wonder how much those things cost.

Nearly 3 months, which would mean if by some miracle nonowner order invites start going out this week, most of those wouldn't see their vehicles until January assuming no expected exponential ramp-up.

Important to note though.......

we've seen in other places that Tesla was replacing parts on employee cars after they came off the line. I'm going to make an assumption here and say that's why this mouse's car was stuck in "pre-delivery purgatory".

I think we're all hopeful Tesla has that figured out by the time they get to Customer cars, i.e. the car rolls off the line as a finished product and goes right out the door.

If they've got this figured out, 11 weeks now becomes a little nearer the 5-6 weeks ballpark. (add a week or 2 more depending on your distance from Fremont).

At least, that's my optimistic viewpoint.
