Hey guys having a hard time figuring this out I have a 75d model s with ap1 and ap is not even enabled yet. I don't have air suspension or a power liftgate. I just love the looks way more than the model y. If I sell the car privately for me to switch over to a model y it will cost somewhere under $10,000. I know the model y has the newest tech and all that but I need some help from you guys! My wife is getting her model y soon so I don't know what to do.

I see you are in Chicago with its cold weather. If you put on a lot of mileage the efficiency and extra range created by the heat pump might be meaningful to you.

Looks like you already know what you want to do. In my opinion too the S looks way better than the y. The Y is and will always be just a resized Model 3.

So what are you saying haha. The model y is a better car but the s looks better?

Well, yes. It's a tough choice. I went through this S vs 3 a while ago and there isn't an easy way to decide. One isn't necessarily better than the other. Better looks vs newer tech. Maybe the S still has a bit quieter interior and smoother ride but who knows how/if they improved this in the Y.
