I ordered 2 and my first one has a higher number than my first one ordered an hr before. I don’t think these numbers work out as people think they do.

First one ordered night of release RN112825***

    Second one ordered 5mins after
    RN112817***

note that second one has a lower number than the first one so it’s def not in the order they were received.

Any distinct difference in what you ordered?

The Cyber Truck Worldwide Reservation Tracker (google sheet - please consider adding your reservation) has alot of good info that will help to answer many questions. For example - Tesla has been reusing cancelled reservation numbers). The tracker can be found by a google search. Here is one of the many plots in the spearsheet). Its a plot of Net reservation number versus time for Dual Motor reservations. (Net reservation number is the reservation number minus the lowest reservation number we have so far found). Tesla is mixing Single Dual and Tri motor reservations. However one can guess where you are in the list by determining your Net reservation number then multiplying by 50% (50% of all orders are for dual motor) and then by 85% (assume 15% cancellation rate).

Maybe someone can make an algorithm that can come up with what the # quantifies? Location might make a difference.

Well, Tonight, March 4th, 2020, My Reservation for the CT is RN113321875, and the difference between that number you quote, and mine, just by subtraction = 577,751 - if that means anything!

it wasn't satire, it was before all the changes happened so it's just badly outdated

So you're saying that you were able to order a CT a couple of weeks before it was unveiled to the public?

In addition, you realize that we're referring to the Cyber Truck. There wasn't an option listed for interior color...

Tesla makes cars in batch's depending on what you have had ordered. There are people who ordered last month who will be getting their cars way before many who reserved last year
