Defeating Autopilot driver sensor

All the sleeping videos I've seen are of either the Model S or the Model X. The Model S/X has more sensitive steering wheel torque sensors that don't require as much torque as the Model 3.

The Model 3 has a truly annoying nag setup.

The only way I've figured out how to get it not to nag me is to hold the steering wheel in one hand with my palm up. I can't stand doing this so I usually just hold it normally, and respond to the nags when they come up.

I'm not entirely sure this example was of a sleeping driver. He could have had a heart attack or some other health issue.

Instead of recording a video, I would have tried to intervene. I love how the witness immediately thought "Hey, lets record this sleeping driver" instead of "There is something bad happening, and I need to help out".
