From the posts I've read, if you've ever had a problem with fog not clearing off the windshield it's more than worthwhile. if you haven't, meh. So far I'm in the "haven't" category.

I deferred a while since our weather rarely is conducive to fogging up the windows, but I drove a loaner with the new version and decided the reflection was hardly noticeable at all when I had my sunglasses on (which I almost always do when driving in the day when reflection would be there). And for the actual defrosting on cold days it does clear a lot faster now that I decided to have them do it.
