Delay in dual motors version delivery

Just been told by DS, the delivery schedule will be pushed back from June to August. Anyone with June delivery got the same message also?
This is their explaination:
The delay comes from the availability of a critical system for the right hand drive version of the dual motor Model S. We have explored all expediting options, but the timing above is the one we feel comfortable with to ensure that you receive a car which meets yours and our exacting quality standards.

My Estimated delivery date has recently changed fr late July to July. Hope that I can have my P85D in June. Does anyone knows how long it takes for the production and how long it takes for the shipment to hong kong ?

mine too changed to July. I am guessing may be they got a revised shipment schedule.
How long it takes for shipment will depend on the ship schedule.
and finally they assigned a VIN to me also. It is >86k already.

Way back last summer when the first few shipments were coming, it was roughly 3 weeks for shipping and another roughly 3 weeks after arrival for paperwork and pre-delivery prepping. Having said that, these are very rough guesses because (a) the online system was (still is?) updated manually; and (b) hopefully, Tesla HK would have smoothed out the delivery process.

There seems to be a "rush" to try to deliver before the end of a quarter. There is some hope that if you press your delivery specialist hard enough, perhaps he can try to deliver it to you before June 30th? But if your delivery estimate is already July, I'm guessing they are already fairly sure they won't make the June 30th cutoff.

From those of us who pre-ordered before the first cars arrived, I'd say, "Better to prepare for the worst and be positively surprised. Tesla HK has a habit of missing deadlines (or being overly optimistic)..."
