is it just my vehicle, or has anyone else noticed a delay between when you press the horn and when it sounds? I wait probably 3/4 of a second before anything makes noise which is super weird to me

I noticed it too but I assumed it was just because you have to press a little harder. Really got to work for that honk #drivehappy

Self driving cars don't need no stinkin' horns. For now, a factory employee has reported that an OTA update will be purchasable for those edge-case owners who can't wait patiently for Level 4 to happen and want a faster reaction time now.

Is it because it’s a electronic software driven horn?

That just means that you will have to press the horn 3/4 seconds before you really need to...lol

Just kidding. They ought to fix this.

I've noticed the horn is very hard to give a hello like beep beep.

Do people even use honks in a friendly manner? I've only ever heard them used in a context of "FAWK YUU" or "CHINGA TU MADRE".

In Saudi Arabia it means “The traffic light is about to turn green. Start moving!!”

Australian foreplay: hooting on the doorway. That may come late now.

perhaps I should rephrase. Try giving 2 honks of short duration in quick succession. It's difficult. :)
