We don’t know which Tesla models Hertz ordered, but if they are primarily Model 3s (as I suspect) than the opening of Giga Texas won’t make any difference to M3 delivery timeframes in Canada; according to Tesla that factory will only produce Ys and CTs for the foreseeable future. All North American M3s will continue to come from California.

I was really excited to read this article, but then less so when I noticed there was no mention of Canadian Hertz locations. I’m sure we’ll join the action eventually, but still. Got my hopes up!
