Delivery 08/13, MSM/Black w/tow, 35xxx...Flawless!!

Took delivery of our second MY today in Buena Park, CA.

Like when we picked up our first one on 07/22 (my wife’s LR Red/White, No FSD), the folks at the BP DC were fantastic. Car was open, turned on, cool inside, and zero rush. Took as much time as we needed to go over it.

This one is my MY: LR, MSM/Black, No FSD, w/Tow.

The car was flawless inside and out. Built 08/2020.

- Panel gaps perfect
- Hatch perfect
- Frunk perfect
- Paint perfect
- Glass perfect
- Interior perfect
- Rear seats even with each other and fold on their own
- Has the new glyphs on the door buttons

Already scheduled HomeLink install. After my 7 day return window closes, getting:

- Tint
- Ceramic
- Aftermarket Wheels in satin black
- Calipers painted
- Emblems painted satin black

For those still waiting, keep the faith haha!! If my example is any indication of Tesla’s QC direction, then you’ll be in great shape.

Beautiful, congratulations- that is the exact configuration my daughter ordered about a month ago- she got the 4-7week text Monday.. Glad to hear no QA problems on yours.. Fingers crossed they improved the process in the last couple of weeks.

Looks like a great delivery! We chose Buena Park for our pick-up whenever we get a VIN assignment. Glad that they are no-pressure / no -rush. We have a Performance Y / Red / White; No FSD or Tow ordered. Hope its gonna be a good one...

I took delivery of my Y today as well. All black non performance and it took flawless as well. From what i can see all of the problems everyone else is reporting are fixed on mine. I will post more pictures later but the only issue i have is the rear seats fit snug so when you press the seat release they do not want to go down. Everything else works amazing

The Red/White is an amazing combo. My wife is in love with it, and after seeing and driving in hers, I was seriously considering switching mine to White. But then my VIN showed up and that was that, haha!!

And yes, no pressure at all. You don’t have to ask for it to be opened, it’s ready when you get there. Very helpful.

My wife’s seats did the same thing, they’ve since loosened up and fall on their own now.
