Delivery date wait time for M3P longer than LR?

I ordered a white M3P a couple weeks ago and the delivery date keeps changing. I’ve read this is common but am wondering if I’ll be waiting longer for the performance model than I would if I had chosen the LR. I’m sure they don’t produce as many M3Ps as LR. Just curious

Actually the M3P/MYP both seem to get priority in manufacturing order-they are the most high margin trims.

Makes sense. Thanks. Do you know if the 8-13 week delivery estimation is accurate? I read some people waited much longer.

I actually switched my order after 5 days from LR to p3d. The order time was 7-11 weeks for p3d at the time of switching vs my edd being 10-16 weeks for the LR.

A week later now I’m at about 1-3 weeks.

seems like the performance model was always a shorter wait time where I am (calgary, alberta)

Sure. It depends on your delivery location. We are closer to Fremont than a lot of states here in Seattle but YMMV as shipping can add a few weeks to an order per proximity.
