Has anyone got a confirmed date yet, I am still a little way out with a late may date, however wondered if anyone has a confirmed date when the first RHD cars will land in the UK

I have been told the same - I think I am #12 on the list to get a car in the UK (ordered >2 years ago and an existing Roadster owner which gives some priority)

Sorry to 'crash this thread' but If any of you guys are planning to trade in a Roadster, when your Model S is due, please PM me - I'm in the market for one (MS just too big for my locality - Dorset the only county with no motorways  )
(As in WTB thread: WTB: Roadster, UK, RHD )

Just in case you guys hadn't seen this already, check out from 1:35, where Elon talks about the RHD version first appearing in April, at yesterday's press conference:
Tesla CEO: Very optimistic for 2014 - CNBC

From another eagerly awaiting in an RHD country!

Good catch! Lines up with May deliveries.

As a side note, is this the first time Elon, or anyone in Tesla, has actually called Gen 3 'Model E'?

I had a voicemail last week to inform me of a new "feature" available with no impact to price. I called them back and apparently they have changed the grain direction of the Matt Obeche wood from vertical to horizontal and wanted to let me know in case that was an issue for me (it's not). During the call, I asked if they had any idea on delivery. They said that I had a production slot and that they were expecting the car to be delivered last week of May, first week of June.

I hadn't been told anything or received any other communication other than confirmation of receipt of my order. I still only see "we're sourcing parts" on my dashboard page.

It looks as if one car will be delivered by Elon in April to a "high profile" customer (another thread speculated this was either Richard Branson or Prince William but I have no knowledge on this). The first batch of customer cars will then be late May.

My guess is that there will be several cars on the same ship so give or take a few days for inspection / prep & delivery those of us lucky enough to be in the 1st batch of cars will get delivery around the same time.

I think tesla should put up a map showing the location of the ship so we can all track it across the atlantic :) just kidding

spoke to tesla this morning, my Model S which they originally said would be late may delivery now seems thats coming off the line then with a delivery scheduled for late june/early july. So maybe RHDs are a little behind schedule
