Delivery Day - Tags

Sorry if dumb question. I am not trading in my Jeep and will private sell. I was planning on transferring my tag (and entered that in my Tesla account); but will Tesla have a temporary tag to use until I complete the sale?

I can go to my DMV and request one as well; but timing will be off by a few days. I was quite surprised getting a text this weekend that car was ready for delivery on 12/6

Or, should I have told Tesla I needed a new tag for the Tesla?

I should probably call Tesla; but I like this forum better

From what I have read on here, when you pick up your car, you should have a temp tag with it, which I think is good for 30 days. On the other side will be one for another thirty days.

For your current license plates from your Jeep, I don't think you can put it on the tesla until it is registered with the Tesla!
