Delivery Estimates Updated for New Reservations!

Anyone notice they updated delivery estimates for new reservations? Thought it was 12 to 18 months?

Hi all. Long time lurker, first time poster.

This is huge news! As a late reservation holder (Dec 2017) I've always taken my "late 2018" estimate with several grains of salt, but this would seem to indicate pretty conclusively that ALL of the existing reservation holders will have a shot at getting the first config version car by the end of the year (i.e. while the full tax credit is still available.)

I really really REALLY want a Model 3! Fortunately, the first config version is exactly what I want.

Thanks. Guess it was such a surprise to me since I thought there were still 400k reservations in the backlog. Even at 5000 deliveries a week not sure how they would be able to deliver the current reservations plus new ones within 4-6months. Unless the new delivery estimates are N.A. only.

Seems like they're not only holding back the last batch of configurations to delay the 200k car into Q3, but likely they're also blending in dual motor and performance configs so that those configurations being placed now aren't at the back of the queue.
