Is where anyone who knows what the heck is going on? Who can I speak with to get answers?
FWIW - mine just changed from Delivery Specialist to 'Delivery contact'
My DS real title is Delivery Experience Specialist. She has been that since she first contacted me two months ago
Are the DS located at the service center for delivery? Or do they simply arrange delivery from some remote location to the service center.
I believe they are located at the service center you've said you want to pick up from.
Yes. They are at the service center. My understanding is your DS is the one to walk you through the functions of your car, hand off the keys, etc.
They are the same. They were called "DS" when Model S first launched, at some point they added the "Experience" in the middle so it is now DES, but people still refer to them as DS online.
As for location, many are based at stores that are nearby SCs. I think this is so they can do some store work if they aren't busy delivering. Plus, they know more about the cars than any store employees. They go to SCs for the deliveries. That's been the case with my DSs, not sure about others. Your DS should be the best source of information.
