Delivery in 2 Days But Silence From Tesla

Hi, All. My MY pickup is in 2 days. Apart from it being reflected in my account I haven't heard anything else (received an email or call). Should I? I've heard stories of customers turning up for their car only to find it not even on the lot. What should I expect?

I've responded to the Delivery Text - got no reply as yet. I called Tesla Brooklyn and the phone just rings out.

My experience with delivery was strange.
I picked the date and time on website.
Got a call telling me car arrives several days early and was moved from Wednesday to Saturday.
On Saturday literally 30 min before scheduled delivery get a call that delivery is off something not working and rescheduled for Tuesday.
Tuesday 2 hours before delivery get another call that car needs parts that are not available and they need to find another car for me.
Took another week of waiting to bring car from North Carolina. And they din't know when it will arrive. So one day I just call local center and they were like oh it just came in. Come at 4:30pm to pick it up.
So I am not surprised you are experiencing the same thing.
Also feels like SA and delivery person do not talk much to each other.

They probably do not communicate with each other at all. Once you are scheduled for delivery, the SAs job is done, there is nothing else more for them to help with. The Delivery specialist handles the delivery. Those two people may not even be in the same state. Any communication they need to have is probably in "your file" on their computers.

In my case they are in the same building and know each other. And I was getting calls from both but they were telling me different things.
One was telling me they can transfer my plates from vehicle sold to Carvana and they did it before, but delivery specialist was like absolutely not.
So whatever, that is in the past. Drive that thing daily and have no regrets or bad memories anymore :D

My brother just had his MY7 (just like mine) delivered at home today (Saturday). He ordered it on 5/7/21. There was no email or text, just update in account with VIN on Monday. First actual contact from a person was on Wednesday to confirm home delivery. It was less than a week from VIN to home delivery for SoCal customer.

My delivery experience in March was quite different and I live only 1.5 mile from my brother. I was in contact with SA via text or email multiple times. It was less than a week from VIN to delivery too but I didn't have option for home delivery. To summarize, delivery experiences can be vastly different so you have no idea what to expect.

Thank you for your stories. My delivery is now 1 day away. No news. I called them this morning. Closed. The menu said to leave a message but the mailbox was full. So my question is - do I even bother going in at 10am Tuesday (my delivery time)? I'm thinking - no.
