Delivery in Santa Barbara

White, LR AWD, BLK interior, 20", no FSD. Santa Barbara, CA delivery. Ordered 2/29/20

Took delivery today - the long story is here, but the short story is I've got a new Tesla in my driveway.

I printed out the Model 3 delivery checklist I found on this site and ran through it all at the dealership. The only thing I had them take care of was a plastic cover on the base of the driver-side rear seat seatbelt anchor that wasn't "clicked in" to the other piece. Took a couple of them to figure it out, but they got it snapped in.

It really is a damn awesome car, and I'm a happy camper right now. In fact, think I'll go sit in it now for a bit. G'night.

1st Model Y midnight silver Performance in SB w 21" UT wheels at SB

I actually picked up Grey Goose this afternoon. Just a handful of oglers as business was quiet today. A couple of Model 3's being delivered same time. Only a small 1/4" gap on black window trim; delivery specialist said they should be able to take care of it in the near future. Also I needed to buy a Ne-Ma 1450 240V adaptor because TM does not include it in the Universal bundle anymore.
All in all a very easy "touchless" delivery because there was no salesperson to deal with.
I took my sweet time (1 hour) to go over the checkout list and that was the only problem I could find. Signed paperwork/ attached check/ dropped paperwork into a box and drove off into the sunset.
There is a delivery specialist a few yards away wearing rubber gloves if you needed any help/ questions.

BTW - This Model Y is actually more sportier/ zippy to drive than my P90D Model S.

Question, how is the ride quality with 21 inch wheels? I’m about to take a delivery of the same config and concerned that the ride is decent

Drove MY from SB delivery venue to Pismo. Ride on Hiway 101 seemed okay with no noticeable road noise but I had my Playlist going on Tesla stereo...
MY drives very spunky/ zippy compared to my MS P90D .
Odd thing: back up camera did not work for first 24 hrs but soft reset it seems okay now.

it will have some quirks until it is on the current fleet software. that will take some time for sure. But glad to hear that a soft reset fix the issue.
