delivery inspection

I've looked at the inspection checklist, and frankly I'm too ADHD to go into that much detail.

So what are the five or so most essential things to look for before accepting the car for delivery?

Honestly, the whole inspection checklist thing is a bit passive aggressive. I did it, felt stupid about it, didn't find the major flaw anyway, took the car home, found the flaw after 2 weeks, had it fixed.

Just take it home, and if you find something, open a ticket. They'll fix it.

Maybe do a walk around looking for scratches & dents that would be hard to defend yourself against.

I think I’ll be too excited to go through an entire checklist lol. Although, my friends’ recent experiences with MY do have me a bit concerned, albeit MY is first gen and M3 is fourth gen?

realistically, even for something minor i would still accept tbh.

My eyes are going to be mainly looking for gaps and paint issues haha. I hate to say it but i'll probably be one of those people who will look a little while, because I don't want to let my excitement make me turn a blind eye to something I'll regret later.

My SA said she had very rarely seen anyone reject delivery. The internet makes it seem like 90% of cars are lemons. Mine was perfect and I bet only 1/5000 refuse delivery!
