My delivery day finally came last Friday (09/22) and I couldn't have been happier with the delivery experience and the car!
My wife and I had our appointment at 9am on Friday to take delivery of our new custom order 75D. The two month wait had finally come to an end and the day was finally here. As you can imagine, I was ecstatic!
I was very curious to see how the delivery process would play out, because of the horror stories I had read on the many forums and if the Fremont delivery center was actually completed and not under construction still.
Well, for everyone who is taking delivery in Fremont in the coming days, weeks or months- I couldn't have had a better experience! From my delivery specialist (Dan Chilcott- who was excellent btw)to the preparation and signing of my paperwork, to the demonstration of key features, the delivery center and the presentation of our new car...the whole process was excellent and everyone was beyond friendly and helpful.
So if you are taking delivery in Fremont, rest assured that it appears that they have gotten their "stuff" together and the finished delivery center is awesome. I had a weekend to spend with the new car and couldn't be happier with my purchase!
