Delivery Pause?-Model S Plaid

I was supposed to take delivery today of my Plaid. Car arrived to the dealer today, same day as shipped from the Fremont Plant. I got an email from the dealership that stated they are ‘pausing all Model S deliveries for further quality assurance’. Anyone know what this could be or have something similar occur?

Could be a software issue, safety issue, both, none of the above…

No one knows and Tesla isn’t saying.

Yep. And it’s been happening for a week now. Which means it’s not good.

They have been known to let half-baked software out the door before which leads me to believe it’s a major safety issue.

There was the one that burned up while driving last week. Maybe they are looking into some issues.

Just notified that my MS Plaid will be delivered in Houston August 26. Black with cream and wood interior, FSD, 19” wheels. Ordered April 1, 2021
