It was a dark and rainy night in Boston ... couldn't see the median during a left turn and hopped the curb. Surprisingly the left wheels were fine but I must have pinched the right rear against the curb. There's a bubble in the sidewall of the tire that's not really visible but the dent in the rim is obvious. Is this type of thing easily repaired? What is the usual cost? Is it necessary to repair? The bead is holding.
Yes You should get it repaired. Probably $100 -150 to get repaired my guess. If its more I would probably buy a new one.
