Using spy shots of the Tesla Model 3, designer Denzzian attempted to create a high-resolution image of what is displayed on the vehicle’s dash.

“I recreated Tesla Model 3 Release Candidate Dashboard using Photoshop pixel by pixel looking at the spy shots of the car to give a clear picture of the UI.” Denzzian said in captions of the photos posted to Imgur. “All the buttons and screen is remastered as exactly as it is to give more clarity.”

Among the menu selections are tabs for “Factory” and “Settings,” which are not present on existing models. Also, controls for phone, music and navigation have been moved to the lower right side of the screen.

The information shown in the images on the upper right side of the screen is related to the system’s Controller Area Network bus that enables communication between components of the car without a host computer. TMC member and noted Tesla tinkerer Jason Hughes (wk057) previously interpreted the tags represented in the data, saying DI/PM tags are related to the rear drive unit and DIS/PMS are related to the front. BMS tags are tied to the battery management system.
