Don't try the UP drive from Mackinaw to Green Bay in the dead of the winter without stopping someway for a recharge.

Give me a new MS with the new more-efficient front motor and the 370 miles of range and I'll try it...

Don't try the UP drive from Mackinaw to Green Bay in the dead of the winter without stopping someway for a recharge.

Not the dead of winter, but I made it from Gaylord to Howard fairly easily on one charge with temps in the 40s.

It ended up being quite easy to charge. As you can see in the pics below there are 2 sets of charges the first picture is at the marina where you CAN park overnight as long as you go during the marina office hours and pay for the required number of days get the tag which I have added a picture of as well.
The other one is inside the parking lot for Star Line Ferry Dock 1 - I did not charge there since I was within walking distance of the marina and preferred to charge there.
As you can see one of the marina spots are iced when I took this picture but I think that was because of how the signs are posted that last spot seems like a regular parking spot. I didn't see any other instances of icing.
So in retrospect I would have completely skipped the Gaylord charger and be fine reaching my hotel with like 20% charge
