Destination Chargers -- what are you guys seeing for payment for use?

I would just report it on Plugshare your issue and call it a day.

That is a sensible approach. Probably best not to get het up over trivial matters like this. If the proprietor of the B&B feels that the HPWC should be a revenue stream or expense offset for his inn, that is his prerogative.

Seems like he is penny wise and might be pound foolish.

I have only utilized one Destination Charger, but it was considered complementary to the room we rented and did not incur any additional charges.

Bar harbor, Maine had one where 40.00 is charged if you don't stay at the hotel

How would they collect? Do you have to get someone to turn it on?

the majority of destination chargers at hotels are an amenity provided by the hotels and if tesla units are always free to use, the generic L2s at hotels are usually free as well.
On a recent visit to Chicago the closest chargers were in a parking garage that charged for parking but the chargepoint units were free to use.

Stayed at a fabulous B&B in Arroyo Grande (Casitas Estate) this trip down and didn't even know that they were a destination charger location until they told us, hadn't thought to look on Tesla's site. They saw our Tesla and told us we could use the charger if we wanted. No fee. Turned out to be very convenient as we were back and forth in the area quite a bit.
