When you make a service appointment on the Tesla App, it now list a new Detroit-Clarkston service center. The location is at 8105 Big Lake Rd in Clarkston, MI. Looks like it used to be a car dealership at Dixie Hwy near I-75.

Not sure if it is open yet, but it did show earliest available appointment is March 9, 2020.

This is a great location !!

Anyone been by there yet?

I picked up my car yesterday from the new Clarkston Service Center. When I was there they were using the advisors car to test out the lift or the alignment rack (I forgot which), so they do have one of those now. Still lots of remodeling and setup work going on. They said it's like building a plane while it is flying....but that is how Tesla does things

They did the Self Driving Computer HW3 retrofit for my car. I was very happy with their service. They did have a "bunch" (advisors term) of the 3.0 computers in stock on Tuesday, however he said that after their location went live Wednesday on the schedule app all the computers have been assigned to appointments. They hope to get more soon.

The employees I talked with were very friendly, professional and excited about opening this new service center.

Here is the sign they have out front.

I just made an appointment on Wed 3/11 as well, for my M3 15k mi maintenance work. Can't yet do the alignment but the tires and brake check, yes. I work in Rochester Hills so this is a much better option for me than Toledo or Cleveland.
Had a great appt at the Clarkston SC. Excellent customer service by Lee and Zack, and others behind the scenes doing the work. Wait was half what they estimated.

Tesla Rave going on behind the black plastic curtain.

Looks very nice. Always glad to see an empty building being occupied and repurposed. I bet the locals are happy as well to have a business. They were hard at work on the Toledo interior as well.

I'm very happy to hear there is a center closer to me (I'm in Shelby Twp).

I have some small issues I've been meaning to have fixed since I picked up the car in September, but haven't had the time to setup mobile service. One of the things I think i need is an allighment check. The steering wheel is a few degrees off straight when the car is going straight. I'll have to call them on Monday and find out when their allighment rack will be up and running.

They are delivering vehicles here now, too! I am getting my Y here hopefully next week.

I received a phone call over the weekend from my Tesla Delivery Advisor. She wanted to know if I would like to pick up my car at the Clarkson location. I said yes! I live in Michigan on the west side of the state. My only choice was traveling to Chicago. I'll save 30 minutes drive by going to Clarkston. Looking forward to seeing this new location. Wonder if Grand Rapids is going to have a location?

I just swung by the Clarkston SC.
There were two Ys in the front lot and 3 in the back.
Other cars being prepared for delivery and a slew of nosecone Ss for loaners or trade-ins.

One white Y had decent paint with no visible signs of delivery damage, but there was a black smudge on the white drivers seat. Shame.
