Anyone have a 2012 - 2017 Model S with a non leaking roof? If so do you have this little gap? There is one on each side of the car right in front of the driver and in front of the passenger?

yes, I have the same. From my experience the sun roof is only leaking when the drain pipes are clocked.
Park the car on an even surface, open the sunroof.
Poor same water into the drain area of the sunroof and check that the water disappears.
The sunroof has 4 drain holes, 2 in front which end behind the front wheels. My drain pipes where clocked, and after cleaning I never had water from the sunroof in the car.
