Did I mess up by not selecting a trade in

I placed an order back in October 2021. When I placed the oorder at the Service Center, I did not select a trade in option and left the box unchecked as I did not know if I was going to trade in or do a private sell. The Tesla employee said that it was no issue and that I didn’t have to decide until close to delivery. My EDD was June and has been for the last 4 months. Two days ago I sold my old car and went into the app and opted to not trade in, therefore creating a check box under trade in section. But Now This morning, my EDD is pushed back to Sept 5 thru Oct 3.

Did me not selecting a trade in option impact my EDD? The service center rep said it had no impact, but it’s curious that my EDD got pushed back a day after selecting a trade in option?
