Did people who ordered just before the price bump get the refresh at no extra $$?

Just curious here - I ordered an S back in November for a May delivery. I just noticed that sometime in late April Tesla cancelled my original order, generated a new order number, bumped the price $1,500 and removed the $2,000 in referral bonus I had coming (I did my referral through someone in one of those states where they can't get the bonus so I get all of it - Ohio if I remember correctly). I have not yet discussed this discrepancy with Tesla - curious as to others' experiences.

I still have the original order e-mail with the sticker, options and pricing - and now the new one in addition.

I'm in the group that ordered before the refresh announcement, but my 1-week confirmation timer was after the announcement. And although I haven't received the car yet, the price increase did not take effect for me. But I'll get the new front end, etc.

So, in a word: yes.

I don't know how this applies to longer-term orders.

My car is the refresh and I ordered before the announcement. No price increase. Strange that happened to you. Definitely speak to your DS.

I would get on phone with you Delivery Specialist as soon as possible. You should be able to receive the $2000 referral credit and the refreshed car at the original price.

is your delivery still set for May? There are not that many delivery days left in May (what with the coming holiday on Monday)

I thought to get referral credit you had to get delivery by the end of March

Yes, I ordered back 12/31. Got the refresh and all do the goods for the same price. I have been trying to fight the additional 1k. I too used a referral code from someone in VA to obtain the 2K. At first my DS said yes I will get a total of 2k off as an incentive but now he's saying the back office isn't allowing him to do so. ????!!!! Wonder how your dealing with this?

Since I have already taken delivery and the transaction is said and done (so they can't go back anymore)... I'll say that I managed to get the referral credit on my refreshed S. I initially made a config back in Dec but never put down the deposit. It remained in my MyTesla account for months. Finally, in April I paid the deposit and confirmed my order. The referral credit stayed on the order. I kept silent about it and the final paperwork showed the credit on there. Tesla never said anything about it themselves so nor did I.

That said, I think I got lucky. I was prepared for Tesla to remove the credit since it was supposed to only be for cars delivered in 2015. This was more likely an oversight by my DS than an official Tesla policy of allowing this credit to go through.
