Did Tesla mess with Range again?

When I first got my Y, I would charge to the highest "everyday" bar. Never all the to max. "trip". I would show 244 fully charged. Then about a month ago Tesla pushed a software update and suddenly my normal charge ranged increased to 255. Now all of a sudden it is back to 244? Anyone else notice this? I wonder if it has anything to do with my recent service where they replaced the super manifold for an AC problem.

The car is constantly adjusting the guess-o-meter for range depending on your driving habits and a slew of other conditions. Plus range will drop overall in the first year just like all other EV’s (Tesla’s included).

There have been some software versions that effected range for sure but majority of phantom/vampire drain has been coded out. Obviously with every update there’s the chance for some line of code to screw it all up.

And that last bar of everyday charge “should” be 90% fyi
