Did your model 3 auto insurance premium go up this year?

Hello all. I am.based in toronto and my annual insurance premium goes up to $4000 this year from $3000 last year for no reason..i did not have any accident or need to change any coverage. Is it just becuase there are more model 3 accidents these days? I am with td auto insurance

Haven't gotten my renewal yet but this is worrying. I'm with TD as well and due in the fall. With that said, even $3k is more than I pay. My premium is around 2k per year. Are you a graduate of any large Canadian university or part of any professional association? TD has good discounts for these groups.

Wawanesa has increased my premiums as well:

My premium for the 2018 Model 3 in 2018 was $526.64/6 months

Now 2022 premium for that Model 3 is increased to $635.65/6 months.

$635.65-$525.64= $110.01 increase over the past 4 years
$110.01/$525.64= 21% increase over the past 4 years.

Mine has gone from $1182 to $1249 this year. We live in a rural area and only drive ~10k km/yr. It's Intact Insurance; they recently took over Western Assurance.

Yes. I am living in the US but buying from Canadian insurance company Wawanesa. You should check it out on its pricing in Canada as well.
